Murphy’s Pigs, Australia’s irrepressible Celtic-rock big band, is coming to town — so “Lock Up Your Troughs” as they celebrate two decades of Celtic song, dance, and mischief with their 20th Anniversary Concert.

What began in France in 2006 as a modest four-piece has grown into a roaring, multi-award-winning ensemble that has carved its own unruly path through the Celtic music scene with heart, humour, and plenty of volume.

Across twenty years, the band has earned multiple Australian Celtic Music Awards and back-to-back People’s Choice Awards at the 2024 and 2025 Australian Folk Music Awards.  In 2024, the Celtic Council of Australia honoured them for their passionate promotion of Celtic culture at home and abroad. You can look forward to some rousing classics, contemporary favourites, a few originals, and the high-energy force of their award-winning dancers, The Piglets.  

Joining them on stage, adding some vocal strength and diversity, will be children from the Goondiwindi State Primary and State High School choirs.
