Initially built as the council chambers and town hall for the Goondiwindi Town Council, the Civic Centre now consists of council offices, a cinema, and shops. Standing out amongst the town with its Art Deco architecture, the Goondiwindi Regional Civic Centre is a prominent building along the streetscape and stands as a testament to the growth of Goondiwindi and the surrounding region in the later half of the 1930s.
