Local artist Michele Hollister's mural showcases painted colourful butterflies fluttering among the turbines of the Macintyre Wind Farm.
While the project increases the beauty of the popular park area in the heart of Inglewood, it also adds a sense of pride and ownership among the community residents and promotes a very talented artist.
Michele said the artwork illustrates several qualities and characteristics found in the area.
“The butterflies have been observed in the Goondiwindi region and the Bulloak Jewel butterfly, featured on the front of the building, is listed as an endangered species,” she said.
