Rachel’s Cottage in Texas has been lovingly renovated and is to epitome of unique country charm. For a weekend of true country hospitality in quite possibly the friendliest town in Queensland, this is it! To avoid the hot weather, we suggest a belated Valentine’s Day weekend when the weather cools so you can enjoy the open fireplace with a great bottle of red together. Oh, and did we mention the clawfoot bathtub too? Like you can we go wrong here...
Situated conveniently on the main street of Texas, head down to the famous Stockman Hotel for a night of great food and entertainment. Renowned for having famous music stars fly in for a meal or a mean meat tray raffle, you never know what you might get when you book a table at the Stockman's. For those inclined to have a hit of golf, why not head to the Texas Golf Club to stroll the greens hand in hand (or fire up with some healthy competition!), like the couple pictured at the top of this post.
