Come hungry! Rotary Gourmet in Gundy takes over the first weekend in September with three days celebrating food, wine, music, fashion and great hospitality.
Friday night kicks things off with a perfect combo of Fashion & Fun with the ‘Glam at Gourmet’ event showcasing the region’s impressive fashion scene and also auctioning off a Saturday Night dinner for 10 with Celebrity Chef Alastair McLeod.
Saturday is all about cooking masterclasses with local chef Aiden Kearney and then the main event on Sunday is a day filled with family fun, great food & music while enjoying the local bbq challenge hosted by celebrity chef Alistair McLeod.

Goondiwindi Gold Cup
Saturday 5th September
Frocks, fascinators and a little country racing? We’re in!
The Vern Kleinschmidt Goondiwindi Gold Cup hits the track on Saturday 5th September with horse racing, bar facilities, food and all the atmosphere of a proper country race day.
Better yet, it lands smack bang in the middle of the Gourmet in Gundy weekend and that’s what we call good timing for a great weekend in the country!

Coolmunda Cod Classic
Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September
Pack the roads and hook on the boat – we’re heading to Lake Coolmunda.
The Coolmunda Cod Classic brings anglers from across Queensland together for three days of freshwater fishing, with Murray cod and golden perch on the target list.
There are thousands of dollars in cash and prizes, lucky draws, raffles, food trucks, BBQ’s and camping – and you certainly don’t need to be a professional fisho to get involved.

Laura Frank is bringing her ‘You Played Where?’ tour to Greenup Meeting Place for a family-friendly night of live country music, line dancing and plenty of fun. Enjoy local artists and a headline set by Laura Frank – and also a line dancing workshop for all ages, ability and experience with no two left feet being turned away.

The annual Talwood Picnic Races brings visitors from all around the region together for racing, fashions on the field, cold drinks, family fun and the sort of country atmosphere you simply can’t beat.
Grab a lift on the bus from Goondiwindi or Toobeah or enjoy free camping on site with a free breakfast on Sunday morning!
