You are spoilt for choice in Goondiwindi on where to stay!
If you are looking for a large place to fit your big group of girlies in, have a look at Wil & Olive (pictured above) - a stylish double story Queenslander set on a sprawling half-acre of lush gardens and old wool sheds. Located just steps from Goondiwindi's CBD and the ability to accommodate 16 guests, this home offers the perfect base for a magical weekend!
Otherwise, check out 40 on Marshall for beautiful, bespoke accommodation - and O'Sheas Royal Hotel is only next door.
Where to eat.
One of the best things about Goondiwindi is the food!
You don't have to walk too far in Goondiwindi to find a great cup of coffee. The main street is dotted with amazing cafes to help you curb your caffeine addiction, or matcha for those that way inclined, as pictured at Kitsch below.
For the Long Lunches - because what's a girl's weekend without one... look no further than newly opened Alfie's (pictured at left) for a city-rivalling experience, amazing food and the atmosphere to match. For later in the evening, head to 'The Backyard' at The Queensland Hotel. Great food, cocktails and the perfect amount of ambience to really kick off your weekend. There may even be some live music depending on the weekend!
If you are looking to stay in, order ahead for the ultimate grazing platter and enjoy a bottle of bubbles without the hassle - Mel and the team at The Larder Market can set you up, or pop down to the Larder Market and make your own.

Where to shop.
The beloved main street is a mecca for shoppers with a huge range of shops featuring something for everyone.
In these amazing stores, you will find local and international labels and wares with some stores stocking some of the most incredible fashion and homeware brands, as well as more locally made.
Whether it's Harry & Kit, Nutmeg Home (pictured below), Suede Shoes, Momera, Goondiwindi Cotton or Sterling Belle – each is a treasure trove of fashion, homewares and gifts that are an experience within themselves. Goondiwindi is widely known for incredible shopping, so don't hold back and bring a little country luxury home with you.
Just remember that Goondiwindi likes to make the most out of their weekends so stores close at 12noon on a Saturday and most stores reopen on Monday at 9am.

Where to sweat.
Sweating isn't always synonymous with a girl's weekend, but if you're the kind to stay active there's plenty of things to do here in Goondiwindi!
Book a session with Pip at Sculpt Pilates Studio (pictured below) and get busy working that sweat up! Floor to ceiling sheer white curtains, towering fiddle leaf figs and finishing your workout with a fresh, cold lavender washcloth over your eyes? Yeah, sign us up… You can even sit and soak in the view of the Macintyre River with a freshly made coffee from their hole-in-the-wall coffee cart, Sip by Sculpt on your way out too.
Or if you would prefer to go for a Hot Girl Walk, Goondiwindi has a wonderful river walk where you can admire the view of the Macintyre River while also marvelling at the local art sculptures and murals by artists along the way.

What to do.
Goondiwindi sure knows how to host an event – and for an experience of country luxury and hospitality at its finest you can't go past The Goondiwindi Picnic Races. Held in early April each year, this event is a fusion of fashion, colour, champagne, gourmet food stalls and great entertainment – oh, and horse races… For a VIP experience at this event, get your friends together and pre-book an Entertainment Package where you have a dedicated tent, chairs to give those dancing heels a break and delicious local catering and drinks packages.
But if you're here to enjoy the perks of a small town for a few days, you can do a number of things around the region including ticking off some of the art trail at Bowen Lane Murals, Sculptures on the River Walk and especially the Nungwai sculptures on the Cunningham Highway (a portion of what you'll find pictured below - a 3 minute drive from town).
